Surah Al Imran Verse 164 (3:164)

Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur’ân), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur’ân) and Al-Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.<sup foot_note=254795>1</sup>

بے شک مسلمانوں پر اللہ تعالیٰ کا بڑا احسان ہے کہ ان ہی میں سے ایک رسول ان میں بھیجا<sup foot_note=295273>1</sup> ، جو انہیں اس کی آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتا ہے اور انہیں پاک کرتا ہے اور انہیں کتاب اور حکمت<sup foot_note=295271>2</sup> سکھاتا ہے<sup foot_note=295272>3</sup>، یقیناً یہ سب اس سے پہلے کھلی گمراہی میں تھے.
